Helical piers were developed decades ago for use in commercial enviornments to carry heavy loads, today they have being widely used in residential environments as a means to easily support decks, additions, and foundation repairs.  Lake Shore Construction installs the Tecnhopost systems which can be installed quickly and in conditions that offer as little as 24" of clearing height. Their installation is accomplished in a way that minimally disturbes the soils requiring much less ecavation which can be a significant cost and time saver.  When it comes to waterfront properties helical peirs can solve a variety of challenges, from supporting and leveling floors on cottages, to correcting some cracked foundation issues, to minmally invasive deck installations.
